We have great events lining up for after the Easter break. Keep a look out in the April Newsletter for details of 'Writing Drama for Television' a special evening with screenwriter Chris Chibnall who lives and works in Bridport. His credits include writer/producer of Torchwood and writer of episodes of Life on Mars and Dr Who. Join Ros Fry and members of the Dorchester Literature Network to hear Chris's take on writing for TV.
Also lining up in May are training sessions with internet author Linda Parkinson Hardman and marketing strategy expert Emma James . They will help you to create 'Cost Effective Marketing Strategies' to get your work noticed on and off the web.
And if you always wanted to make use of mobile messaging to get your message heard, then the gurus from Influx Marketing will tell you how to do simple things to make it work for you.
And .. if you have not yet signed up for the Pride of Place training awards for artists who want to work with communities, contact us now for the training day on April 16th.

GROWBAGS & HOMEGROWN
GROWBAGS, Lighthouse Poole Saturday 12th April
The GROWBAG platform events take place at venues in Dorset, Bournemouth & Poole for artists/companies to show extracts of work/work in progress to a critical audience. Supported by Dorset Theatre Promoters Consortium venues. Growbags provides a space where local creative professionals can present work and gain valuable responses from audiences. Each artist/company involved will receive feedback and developmental surgeries from Activate’s Theatre and Dance Development Co-ordinators.
